Topics

The Evolving Treatment Paradigm for Follicular Lymphoma
This program will include an evidence-based overview of currently available treatment options and novel therapeutics currently under investigation. Clinical challenges will be discussed, including treatment options after failing standard therapy, introducing novel agents, incorporating novel approaches into clinical practice, rituximab resensitization, and maintenance therapy. The program will conclude with practical application case scenario(s) and an audience question and answer session.

Clinical Advances for the Treatment of Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma
This program will provide a comprehensive review of currently available therapies for DLBCL and discuss agents currently being explored in this setting. Challenges and controversies will be discussed, including optimal dosing and scheduling, prognostic significance of DLBCL subtypes, implications of prognostic markers, options for limited disease, drug resistance and its reversibility, patient risk factors and treatment planning, and novel agents. The program will conclude with practical application case scenario(s) and an audience question and answer session.

Clinical Considerations for AIDS-Related Lymphomas
This program will focus on important clinical considerations for patients with AIDS-related lymphomas. Currently available therapies for virally based lymphomas will be discussed in addition to agents being explored in this setting. Clinical challenges and controversies will be discussed, including epidemiology in the era of HAART, effect of HIV on outcomes, chemotherapy and HAART, managing relapsed and resistant disease, need for enhanced screening, and optimal treatment strategies.
